CPT reports nearly 20% on-year decline for March 2015

Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT) has announced its March 2015 revenues reached NT$4.571 billion (US$147.29 million), up 19.9% on month but down 19.6% on year.
Revenues throughout the first quarter of 2015 meanwhile reached NT$13.23 billion, down 11.6% on year.
In March, CPT shipped 124,000 large-size panels, up 8.8% on month and down 19% on year while shipments of small- to medium-size panels reached 37.56 million, up 26.8% on month and down 3.2% on year.
After seeing more than 10 million in vehicle display shipments in 2014, representing on-year growth of 37%, CPT is expanding its lineup of applications in 2015 and expects to see further growth in the segment during the year, the company recently noted.
