Huang pitched at the National Taiwan University of Physical Education and Sport, where he showed an 89-94 mph fastball. His secondary pitches are inconsistent but have their moments, with an 80-83 mph slider that has come on recently and could develop into an average pitch, along with a changeup that flashes average and could tick up. He relies a lot on his slow curveball, though against professional hitters in the United States, that pitch may become more of a get-me-over offering early in the count. Huang has already spent time in Arizona when he pitched in minor league spring training games with the Diamondbacks. 這筆簽約會算進pool裡面。 While bonus information was not immediately available, Huang’s signing will count against Arizona’s 2014-15 international bonus pool.
