德國隊顯然很在意巴西隊的「大動作」。一天前，中場球員Bastian Schweinsteiger要裁判注意，現在總教練Joachim Loew也出來「讚聲」。

「我希望、預期，主審Marco Rodriguez能注意那些動作，」Loew說，「從後方、側邊，會有很多激烈的犯規。必須禁止這樣的犯規，不然就可能損失像Neymar、Messi這樣的球星，然後場上只剩下那些破壞比賽的球員。」

巴西隊少了Neymar，後衛隊長Thiago Silva也被禁賽，但德國隊可不敢小看。

「雖然頂級球星不在，但會有其他球員頂上。我敢說，巴西隊會為了Neymar、Silva，踢出好球。」Loew說。

「我們不會把Neymar、Silva缺陣，看作是巴西隊的缺陷，因為他們還有Dante，不可以假想他就會踢不好，尤其是面對德國隊。」
